The Sacred Heart Glyndon 21 Club is a parish-sponsored fundraising club. The purpose of the club is to support the needs of Sacred Heart Parish and School as well as St. Charles Borromeo not included in the regular budget.
Twice per year, the 21 Club sells tickets for $25 each. This entitles you to a chance to share in the prize money for 20 weekly drawings as well as our Early Bird and Grand Prize Drawings.
There is an Early Bird Drawing on the first week of each Campaign for $500. Starting the following week, we then draw five (5) numbers and give away one $200 prize, one $100 prize, and three $50 prizes. At the end of 20 drawings, there is a grand prize party held at Sacred Heart where the remaining five drawings take place consisting of: two $500 prizes, two $1,000 prizes, and one $3,000 prize. There is free food at the party, raffles and wheels of chance.
There are approximately 20 parishioners who are “sellers” and have tickets available for you to purchase. You can also get them from Carol Greenwalt at the Parish Center!
Msgr. Aiken and Fr. Okeke last year did research for installing a Video Monitoring System in the Gathering Space so that those who are unable to come into the Main Church and participate in the Mass will be able to do so! Unfortunately funds were not available at that time. Msgr. Aiken asked if we might possibly help with this mission.
Thanks to the support of our 21 Club ticket holders we were able to help finance this project, and the newly installed system is up and running.
These are some other ways the 21 Club has been helpful in the recent history of the Church:
