S.W.O.R.D.

S.W.O.R.D. (Separated, Widowed or Divorced)- provides a support system for those who are trying to adjust from married to single life. Even though the circumstances of separation, divorce, or death may vary, the need to have the support of others in similar circumstances helps one to cope. In addition to providing emotional support, S.W.O.R.D. helps to create a new social system to help with the adjustment process by planning activities attended by the group as a whole.
