Sodality

Sodality - The purpose of Sacred Heart Sodality is to foster devotion to Mary, the Mother of Christ. Sodality meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month (September to May) and begins with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:15 p.m. followed by Mass. Both take place in the Historic Church. The business meeting and presentation that follows takes place in Adult Meeting Room #1. The group provides the Baptismal Bibs for all babies baptized at Sacred Heart, cleans the Historic Church weekly, and when requested, leads the Rosary at Wake Services. We are also active participants in the World Day of Prayer. At Christmastide, warm items of clothing are collected for the clients of Beans and Bread in Fells Point. During the year, fund raisers such as trips to a dinner theater, the St. Patrick's Day luncheon, and the Communion Breakfast help the group support various projects within and beyond the parish boundaries. Membership is open to all who care to join.
